Let’s Meet with A Sri Lankan  Scientist

As the 3rd  event in the series of space talk which are going to happen  2nd of June, 2019 with a Sri lankan student who has been studying his higher education and as a researcher. Maleen Wijerathne who is a Phd candidate and research assistant at Department of Mississippi State University in the topic of ‘Cosmic Rays ’ will be discussing. This  online session is conducting by the students namely Sathika Gunarathne (Faculty of medicine,University of Colombo)  and Thimira Chandrasekara (Faculty of Engineering,Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology)  .All of astro lovers can join with this video session broadcast on SEDS Sri Lanka YouTube channel at 8.30  p.m. onwards.

SEDS Sri Lanka ආයතනය මගින් සන්විධානය කරනු ලබන SEDS Space Talks  වැඩසටහන් මාලාවේ තෙවන වැඩසටහන ජුනි මස 2 දා රාත්‍රි 8.30 සිට සජීවිව විකාශය කරනු ලබන අතර මෙම සාකච්ඡාව සදහා මෙවර එක් වන්නේ Mississippi State විශ්ව විද්‍යාලයේ පර්යේෂක සහයෙකු මෙන්ම ආචාර්ය උපාධි අපේක්ෂකයෙකු වන මලීන් විජේරත්න මහතා වන අතර ඔහු "කොස්මික් කිරණ" යන මාතෘකාව හරහා මෙම සාකාච්ඡාවට එක් වේ.මෙම සාක්ච්ඡාවේ කතිකයන් ලෙස සතිකා ගුනරත්න හා තිමිර චන්ද්‍රසේකර කටයුතු කරන අතර SEDS Sri Lanka ආයතනයේ YouTube නාලිකාව හරහා ඔබටත් මෙම සන්වාදයට සජීවීව සම්බන්ද විය හැකිය.

F or all the astronomy lovers and curious people , your long-awaited event is here.For the first time in SEDS history,    the biggest astronomy discussion in Sri Lanka will happen on    18th of May from 0830 onward at University of Moratuwa with  the participation of honorable professors,  Dr.Dan Marrone (Associate professor,Department of astronomy and Steward observatory),  Dr.Chi-Kwan Chan (Assistant professor,Steward Observatory)and Nishadi de Zoysa (Secretary of SEDS UOM), Sathika Gunarathna (SEDS UOC),  Arsh Nadkarni (UA SEDS) from the AZ end as speakers in this live conference , which is going to  host through hangout calls .
