International Asteroid Search Campaign

2019

SEDS SL Team is going to represent Sri Lanka in International Asteroid search campaign 2019. Organized by International Astronomical Search Collaboration (IASC) together with Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC). This campaign mainly focusses to make important discoveries of Main Belt asteroids (MBAs) and Trans- Neptunian objects (TNOs). Discovered Asteroids will be named under the names of the team and This world's official minor bodies catalog maintained by the International Astronomical Union (IAU, Paris).
